A statement from GPA Midstream welcoming Mark Christie as Chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

"GPA Midstream applauds President Donald Trump naming Mark Christie as Chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). GPA Midstream’s members operate the infrastructure that gathers and processes America’s natural resources.

During his four years as a FERC commissioner, Christie pushed to develop energy infrastructure to promote reliability and affordability. GPA Midstream believes Christie is well-suited to lead the commission because he has shown an understanding that our country’s infrastructure is constrained, and that American homes, businesses, industries, and allies abroad have growing energy needs that can be met by expanding the nation’s energy infrastructure, which includes building new pipelines to expand delivery of natural gas.

Christie has been an advocate for pipeline development, and GPA Midstream looks forward to working with him and the other FERC commissioners to meet the world’s increasing demand for affordable, reliable and cleaner energy."
