GPA Midstream Technical Conference

About the conference

GPA Midstream was founded in 1921 because the industry needed technical standards. Since then, the association's technical committees have developed and maintained industry standards and reference bulletins, in addition to publishing more than 200 research reports. Technical committees and workgroups are actively engaged year-round to ensure the technical information companies use to make important operating decisions remains accurate.

GPA Midstream's Technical Conference brings together the industry's technical community and offers educational sessions, vital committee work, and valuable networking opportunities.

2025 Call for Speakers

Are you working on an innovative approach to an issue important to midstream? If so, GPA Midstream wants you to present your research at the sixth annual GPA Midstream Technical Conference, APR 7-10, 2025 at the Hilton Dallas/Plano Granite Park hotel.

Topics should be important to the industry and within the following categories:
  • Analysis, test methods & product specifications
  • Facility design, operation & maintenance
  • GHG measurement & abatement
  • Measurement & quantity determination
  • Pipeline design, operation & maintenance

The submission deadline is DEC 13, 2024.

The committee responsible for speaker selections will choose at least 18 speakers. Selected speakers will be notified in mid-January, 2025.

If chosen as a speaker, you are expected to give one 30-minute in-person presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. We will not be able to bring speakers in remotely to this event, so if you aren't confident of your ability to participate in person, please do not submit an abstract.

If selected:

  • You agree to obtain any permissions or clearance required for the content of your presentation at the conference by your employer.
  • You grant GPA Midstream the rights to include your paper/presentation content in the conference proceedings in electronic format and grant GPA Midstream permission to add your name, topic, and short biography to the conference website and on marketing materials.
  • You agree to ensure that your presentation has an educational focus and is a sales-free zone. We offer sponsorship opportunities for individuals interested in promoting a company and/or service.
  • You agree to speak to conference attendees in person in Plano, TX on April 7, 8 or 9.

2025 Technical Conference

The 2025 GPA Midstream Technical Conference returns to the Hilton Dallas/Plano Granite Park — a four-star waterside property that hosted more than 20 committee and workgroup meetings, as well as presentation of dozens of research papers offering practical solutions to common industry challenges.

Each year, the Technical Conference brings together the community of professionals and subject matter experts dedicated to developing and maintaining the technical standards that are the backbone of the midstream sector.
