GPA Midstream and its supplier partner GPSA issued the following statement in response to the recent Senate confirmation of US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin:
“GPA Midstream and GPSA congratulate Lee Zeldin on his confirmation as EPA Administrator and commend the Senate, Majority Leader John Thune and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for swift action on his appointment. We also thank Senator Shelley Moore Capito for convening a nomination hearing in a timely manner.
This marks a pivotal moment for EPA to implement policies that balance environmental protection with the responsible use of our nation’s natural resources, ensuring energy access for Americans and our allies worldwide. We are eager to collaborate with Administrator Zeldin and his team on methane emissions policies, because we believe effective solutions can support the delivery of cleaner, affordable, reliable, and secure energy to consumers at home and abroad.”
