"GPA Midstream and GPSA congratulate Chris Wright on his confirmation as Secretary of Energy and commend the Senate, Majority Leader John Thune, and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for acting swiftly to secure his appointment. GPA Midstream and GPSA also appreciate Senator Mike Lee for convening a timely nomination hearing.

As the new administration moves to expand American energy production, strong leadership at the Department of Energy is essential. GPA Midstream and GPSA share this commitment, and we look forward to collaborating with Secretary Wright and his team to advance policies, particularly those supporting liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports. These policies are critical for delivering clean, affordable, reliable, and secure energy to our allies around the world.
