A geological formation designed or capable so that product can be added and removed at a desired time.
Hydrocarbon compounds having one or more unsaturated carbon valence bonds. These compounds are not found in natural gas streams or gas liquids (NGL) because of their relatively high chemical activity. Unsaturates are produced by a thermal cracking or chemical reaction and can be found in synthetic gas (SG) or light refinery gases (LRG).
A gas phase of product that was somehow derived from liquids or solids.
The pressure exerted by a fluid at vapor-liquid equilibrium.
A descriptive phrase for natural gasoline meeting a specified vapor pressure.
Vapor pressure as specified by GPA procedures.
Equipment or process for the recovery of the desired components from stock tank vapors or vapors from some other source.
Vaporization has ceased to occur in a two-phased fluid, so the ratio of liquds and vapor have become constant over time.
The conversion of liquid or solid to vapor.
The loss of liquid as vapor during processing or storage.
The amount of time a fluid remains in a vessel.
The property of being easily evaporated, i.e., changing from liquid to gas.
Refer to definition of "volatile."
The property of being volatile.
An average of any property of a mixture or solution in proportion to the volume of the individual components in the mixture or solution.
Any unwanted material that results from the operation of a plant.
Any system that is provided for the disposal of unwanted waste.
A steam generating boiler using as its main heat source by-product heat from an industrial operation or from a high temperature level operation.
The evaporation of liquid by exposing it to the conditions of atmospheric temperature and pressure. Partial evaporation of liquid by use of heat may also be called weathering.
A GPA test for LP-gas for the determination of heavy components in a sample by evaporation of the sample as specified.
An average of any property of a mixture or solution in proportion to the weight of the individual components in the mixture or solution.
Weight compared to a standard with no correction for atmospheric conditions of air buoyancy.
Weight compared to a standard in a controlled vacuum cylinder or corrected for air buoyancy.
The total effluent from a well.
