The GPA Midstream Chairman’s Award for Safety Improvement recognizes companies for improving their safety performances and is determined by a company’s ability to demonstrate continuous improvement by reducing its number of recordable incidents.
This award is presented to companies achieving a 25% or greater reduction in the total recordable incident rates as compared to the average of the total recordable incident rates for the three previous years. Companies also must not have an Occupational Safety and Health Administration reportable incident during that three-year time period.
