Midstream Facilities Optimization Guideline

SKU:
MFOG-20

Abstract:
The Midstream Facility Optimization document is intended to provide guidance, ideas, and insight for engineering and Operations personnel in the efficient design, construction, and operation of natural gas processing facilities using typical Process Flow Diagrams and unit operations check lists. It replaces and supersedes the Energy Conservation Check List published by GPA Midstream in the early 1980s. The predecessor to this document focused almost exclusively on energy audit details and incremental, evolutionary changes to both infrastructure (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), building design, etc.) and process operation setpoints within existing Midstream plants and facilities of legacy design. This newer incarnation adds a number of new aspects – to guide broader thinking about various efficiencies, so that Designers and Operators may achieve more revolutionary overall Optimization benefits in Capital Expense (CAPEX) and Operational Expense (OPEX), as well as direct Energy and Environmental Costs. FOR ELECTRONIC (PDF) ORDERS, YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE THE CHECK LIST SPREADSHEET (EXCEL FILE) FOR THIS DOCUMENT.
