What Does Virtual Look Like?

The 2020 GPA Midstream Fall Technical Conference is going virtual, and it's planned for busy midstream technical professionals like you! The live conference week is set for Oct. 26 - 30, and that's when the networking sessions and educational sessions with the opportunity for live Q&A are scheduled. Each presentation will be limited to 30 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes set aside for Q&A. Our virtual platform will log your attendance, and certificates of attendance for CPE credit and/or professional development hours (PDH) will be issued to those that join each session marked with a certificate icon.

If you can't participate during the live week, we're calling Nov. 2 - 6 Encore Week, which means that the educational sessions, plus the Q&A portion, will be replayed two additional times during the week of Nov. 2, allowing attendees two additional opportunities to view the sessions for certificates. Of course, every session will be available on demand once it concludes, so if you're interested in the content but don't need a certificate, the on-demand option will satisfy those needs. As long as you register (registration opens Sept. 25), you'll have access to all sessions, Oct. 26 - Nov. 6.

About the Conference

GPA Midstream was founded in 1921 because the industry was in dire need of technical standards. Since then, our technical committees have developed, and we maintain, industry standards and reference bulletins, and we have also published more than 200 Research Reports. Our technical committees and workgroups are actively engaged year-round to ensure the technical information that companies use to make important operating decisions remains accurate. GPA Midstream's Fall Technical Conference is where our technical committees and workgroups meet face-to-face and includes educational sessions and networking opportunities, all for a modest registration fee. The 2020 virtual conference will look a bit different with workgroup meetings, committee meetings and education sessions spread out over a 3-week period to accommodate busy schedules.  irtual also means that the education sessions will be shorter in duration and offered more than one time to accommodate busy schedules and those working from home.

Just like our annual convention, this conference is being planned by your industry peers, so topics will be relevant and timely. Last year's inaugural Fall Technical Conference far surpassed GPA Midstream's expectations for attendance and was highly successful because of the modest cost to attend and content focused on midstream's technical activities and issues. Certificates of attendance will be issued for each educational session.

Registration & Fees

Registration for the virtual conference will open Sept. 25; check back here for the link on that date. Any employee of GPA Midstream and GPSA member companies, plus any member of a GPA Midstream chapter, is eligible to receive the member rate. Find out if your company is a GPA Midstream or GPSA member.

GPA Midstream and GPSA Members - $25 per person
GPA Midstream Chapter Members - $25 per person
Non-Members - $100 per person

Sponsorship Opportunities

We know budgets are tight, and we also know that companies are looking for ways to get their names in front of customers. We have options that meet both criteria. Take a look at our sponsorship packet for the GPA Midstream Virtual Fall Technical Conference to see how your logo and message can be placed front and center for the industry's technical community.

Schedule - Conference Week - Oct. 26 - 30

If you can't participate during Conference Week, you'll have two additional opportunities to view each education session for certificates during Encore Week, Nov. 2 - 6. If you'd like to participate in live Q&A with the speakers, Conference Week is the only opportunity to do so. As long as you register, you'll have access to all sessions, Oct. 26 - Nov. 6.
