2019 GPA Midstream Convention Call for Papers & Speakers is open

TULSA, Okla. (June 5, 2018) - The GPA Midstream Association is accepting technical abstracts, and speaking proposals for non-technical topics, for the 2019 GPA Midstream Convention, which is scheduled for April 14 – 17, in San Antonio.

The convention brings together more than 2,000 professionals involved in natural gas gathering, compression, treating, processing, storage and marketing, and natural gas liquids fractionation, transportation, storage and marketing, all with the common interest of meeting about – and making a difference in – midstream matters.

The convention has long been recognized for its technical papers and presentations. The Technical Track remains a centerpiece of the conference, and those interested in presenting technical papers are strongly encouraged to attach an abstract with their Call for Papers submissions.

GPA Midstream also is accepting speaking proposals for the newly added Commercial Track, which covers changes to midstream infrastructure, exports, commodity market fundamentals, and assumptions and influences driving economics.

Topics in the convention’s Advocacy Track cover the political landscape, as well as information or issues facing midstream stakeholders: what is affecting operations, driving business decisions and how companies comply with the multitude of rules and regulations that apply to midstream operations.

Abstracts are not required for the Commercial and Advocacy tracks, but the more information speakers can provide about themselves and the topic, the better the chances of being selected by the GPA Midstream Program Committee.

All authors and speakers whom complete the Call for Papers and Speakers submission form by Oct. 31 will be considered as a potential presenter at the 2019 GPA Midstream Convention. Learn more and apply here.
